i'm fine..freaked out insecure neurotic excited

Ahhh Italian Job...good movie...total sales pitch for mini's but hey i'm not complaining...i would totally get one if i didnt live in a place where there is snow storms for 5 months.
ok...so i'm fine. No surgery necessary. Just a nasty sinus infection which has withered down my immune system and deviated my septum. hah thats a funny word. Ok so this medicine is making me alittle loopy.
On a better note...Jack Bauer is amazing. i know that i have already said this but OHMYGOSH when he almost cut out Walt's eyes!! i was seriously preparing for the worst...as in seeing the eye pop out and roll across the floor by the presidents foot and him accidently stepping on it and then falling backwards. ok i know that scenario would have never happened cause it's too funny but wow...props to the writer that thought of yet another way that jack could scare the crap out of someone else. and i'm sorry but audrey's nose is driving me nuts! ITS TOTALLY Slanted...and ya...still dont like her that much.

Now for something completely different...Oscar Nominations...
BEST PICTURE-now every year i hope that i've seen atleast one movie thats up for something so that i can root for some part...but ok this year NOPE. Didnt see the cowboys...didnt see capote(which i wanted too...love to dusty from twister) Good Night and Good Luck just didnt thrill me at all. Crash had a ton of good actors in it but...Nope didnt see that one either cause as twisted as it looked i was in more of a comedy mood this summer and munich?? after war of the worlds spielburg went off my list...and tom cruise

Charlize Theron...she's gorgeous but she's already won...but i'm sure she'll look really pretty Judi Dench! really?! hasnt she gotten enough? hasnt she won every award possible? been "Damed" and played M in jamed bond?? what more does this woman need i get it she's an amazing actress Felicity Huffman...she's cute and the movie sounds weird but hey maybe she'll win and Reese Witherspoon...love her i hope she wins so then she could reinact the scene from Legally Blond and scream "ME"...haha ok

this weekend i realized how important a good bed is. I was in highland for a bit this weekend and slept in my old bed...holy cow...its amazing...seriously i'm not just saying that cause it's at home. this bed is legitamely the best bed ive ever slept in. I'm like goldy locks here...i dont like them too soft...hate hard beds...my bed at home...JUST RIGHT. i dont even think a foam mattress or a feather top to my bed in my apartment could come close to making that tabletop just right. Ok i know i'm ranting. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Alright...since i was told last night that my blogging isnt timely enough even though a certain persons i know still havent blogged yet ( a note about how your going to blog soon isnt a blog...thats blog fraud) i'm going to blog today. Enough said...
First off...Health IQ...heres the moment of truth....as i previously stated its on the kleenex website...one of my new favorites for delicious recipes like Rapid Recovery Chicken Soup and Good Cheer Hot Dog soup...just from reading the title of that last soup i think im swearing off hot dogs for awhile. Amen. Ok back to the Health IQ TEST...this is not a test!!! its a fact fiction page...LAME dont get me excited about failing another test to only just dissappoint me completely. Strike 2 on the kleenex site. So here i was going to analyze my knowledge of all things cold and flu and now im just reading about how vitamin c really doesnt take away my colds and that all those times my mom said i had to blow dry my hair because if i go outside with wet hair i'll get a cold...WRONG...its through contact with other people with colds...score Michon-1 Mom-a million
Something interesting is that on the "mythconceptions" page it says that sniffing with a cold with make it worse!! What am i supposed to do instead of sniff and i have no coldcare kleenex's??!?! yikes. Alright...i'm done with the kleenex site...not only has it made my stomach freak out with just the thought of the smell of hotdog soup i have been mislead in health iq...

On to other topics....
For those who want to know...here is the recipe for the worlds best caramel corn
Get 2 bags of popcorn goin and sift out the kernels (i'm usually not the best at that part)
1 stick of butter (not margarine)
1 cup of brown sugar sugar
1/3 cup of Karo Syrup
-Put all these into a pot on the stove and mix till it boils
-Once the concoction starts a boilin let it boil for about a minute and then add....
1/4 tsp. of Baking Soda
-Stir that in really well and then pour the caramely goodness on the popcorn...stir till every kernel is covered and then ENJOY...
(This stuff goes really well with an episode of 24...RIP guy with scissors jammed in his neck...sick yet awesome...way to be Jack)

kleenex anyone??

Ok...so the reason i havent blogged it up in awhile is because of this raging sinus infection/cold/cough ensamble ive got going on. it seems that my brain likes to work at only 20 minute incriments and i feel like blogging should be a bit below homework. i started feelin this on thursday...730 am...BAD TIME. i still went to my 9 am class but let me tell you...its all alittle fuzzy...the rest of the day is a blur but i know that i slept alot and made/spilt soup everywhere. That is the only bonus of being sick...soup. you dont really think of soup when everything is peachy in your life but as soon as the sniffles come...WHAM the over powering craving for warm socks...over sized blankets and CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP comes and there is nothing else that will help. one of the HUGE reasons i hate being this sick is that there is no help for me till i go to a doctor and get magic pills...untill then sudafed advil and kleenex are my only friends. And to kleenex...i am a firm believer in the kleenex lotion cold care kleenex...now some of you might be wondering if a non kleenex brand works as well.... NOPE NOT EVEN CLOSE DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY...shell out the extra dollar and get relief for your nose...it will thank you and not run away like on those claymation commercials with the cool british actor voice. i've also hated the fact that i get tired at 8 pm but wake up at 7 am....i NEED a nap at 2 and its totally pointless to read anything because i wont remember it in about 10 minutes...my mind is GONE. ok even now i am forgetting what ive written. I'm off to find more movies that will entertain me while i lay in my bed under 4 layers of blankets and still shiver.

Ok so due to my lack of any creativity i havent blogged in awhile..but now as i'm waiting till i absolutely have to go to class i'll blog alittle...
First off...it was a great 4 day weekend...Duke won saturday(16-0...AMAZING)...and i became fully addicted and excited about this season of 24...here are many reasons why
- within the first 4 mintues i was already addicted and crying for Pres. Palmer
- in the next 12 minutes i cried and screamed again for Michelle and Tony
- The scene where tony was taken into the hospital was kinda funny for me because...ya...Right Hemisphere??? REALLY!! who was the medical consult on that script...which leads me to my next point...HOW IS TONY GOING TO COME BACK FROM OPEN BRAIN SURGERY in a 24 HOUR PERIOD AND BE ON JACKS SIDE TO SAVE THE WORLD????
-Chloe is HILARIOUS she delivers some of the best sarcasm and "Jack Facts" please refer to jenny's blog for good quotes
- Jack Bauer is Amazing...the buzz cut and aviators...wow...thats how you get women guys...if there are guy readers out there.
- Anyone notice that the bad russian dude in the airport was Shaw from National Treasure?? ya i did...and then i watched national treasure after 24 cause i needed to wind down
- i believed the first lady from the beginning...maybe it's because i believe crazy people

Ode to Duke... JJ for President and Sheldon for VP...now thats what i call a winning team

Alright...so tonight marks the 15th win for Duke this season...AWESOME...can i say that again...AWESOME!!! I know many of you are wondering why Duke...Why the love for JJ...well ladies and if any gentlemen read this...ITS BECAUSE THEY ARE AMAZING...i love this team...i love the school i love the coaches i LOVE the players and i LOVE how excited i get watching it! Some people hate Duke because they compare them to the Yankees...for all of you that think that...i hate you. C'mon people...Duke is consistently the best because they a) recruit the best b) Coach K c) coach K d) coach K. To not respect one of the best coaches of all time is a SHAME...he knows how to make great teams...and makes his players work for it...this is why Coach K is one of my favorite people...To show how much i love this team..and how much of my time is dedicated to reading/writing/watching this team i'm going to give alittle run down of my boys

JJ Redick- Jonathan Clay Redick...from virginia...Mcdonalds All American...been starting since he was a FRESHMAN...fell in LOVE with him the first time i saw him play because a) had the sweetest 3 point shot i've ever seen in my life b) no tattoo's ( wise choice for such a white guy) He is amazing...he shoots better than anyone in the NBA...Magic said it himself tonight...there is no better shooter in the NCAA or NBA right now. Thank you Magic you just moved up on my list. Tonights game is just one of many games where JJ knows how to mess with the heads of the opponents and make 4 point shots ( yes i know there isnt such thing but seriously when you shoot over 3 guys shouldnt that be a 4 pointer??) JJ also has on record the best free throw shooting percentage in the NCAA...cmon people give the boy props for that!!! He is the best basketball player ive ever seen...and yes i have seen MJ but i still dont think that guy was human
Sheldon Williams- talk about what a difference a year makes!!! He started out good Freshman year...he brought the inside game to duke which the desperately needed...he's big and he's not afraid of anyone. In the beginning he was alittle wild but boy oh boy after one summer of working out he widened by like a foot and gained 40 pounds of muscle. Williams is vital to Duke and now that he's got McRoberts they are amazing in the paint...Also tonight he got the 3rd Triple Double in Duke History...that is awesome...the game was awesome...suck it maryland
Sean Dockery- now this boy may have not stood out too much for me due to never having a very strong presence...Best Wishes to Duhon in the NBA...but i have come to realize that dockery is key to what duke is all about...passing...calling plays...being there when we need him and MAKING ONE SECOND SHOTS TO WIN THE GAME...thats right...he has a piece of my heart after the Virginia Tech game with the 1.6 second half court shot...really..that was the best moment of duke basketball and i doubt it can be beaten unless by a National Championship
Greg Paulus- Maddi's Boy...good freshman...plays at times like he's a junior...he's getting the hang of commanding the greatest team on earth and seems to be taking in stride how great he can be with this team. He's leading in assists and he made the first 5 points of the night...sweet job Greg...keep up the work
Josh McRoberts-my next boy- he plays tough and isnt afraid to dunk...i like that attitude...we need that...and he's another white boy that can jump...i respect that. He's also JJ's close buddy...so ofcourse im a fan. from the words of my dad "McRoberts will take Duke to the National Championship"

Ok Thats the best starting line ive ever seen...tonights game was amazing...and i cant wait till saturday when we play Clemson...poor kids...they dont know whats coming...i love duke...and i'm sorry but i'm sure i'll blog about them again!


OLD SCHOOL DUKE...LOVE TO DUHON AND EWING

yesterday...a new time low...76 oz of diet coke ( with alittle other supplimentary caffine) and a midnight meeting with a locksmith

Ok...so where to start about yesterday...because really...it felt like 3 days all rolled up into one. first off...i need to STOP PACKING SO MUCH CRAP TO DRIVE 20 MILES HOME...im adding that to my 06 goals. anyways. so 8 am came SUPER early yesterday..so i was like...nope not gonna make the 9am bio lecture..so i get up enough energy to go on the computer and look up if there is a 10 am lecture which i could go to instead..indeed there was so back to bed i go for another hour...then i throw on some UGLY clothes and shove food in my mouth and drive to the crappiest part of campus...alittle place i like to call "south hell" of course every spot...every inch of road is full so my jeepy couldnt fit in. Which brings me to my first huge issue of the day...PEOPLE OF BYU...LEARN HOW TO PARALLEL PARK OR I WILL START KICKING YOU CARS..you think im kidding. seriously people...you do not need 6 feet on both sides...move it up and let a poor girl in. and as a direct result of me not finding a spot i didnt go to the first class of this semester. NEW LOW IN MICHON CARRASCO's LIFE...thats right people who are reading this...i didnt go to my first class of this semester cause i couldnt find a parking spot and i was in a bad enough mood already that i wasnt willing to try past 10 am. So i decide that i need to go get some school necessities...as in notebooks and tape and binders. so i go get that...then the overwhelming desire for starbucks took over..and i dropped down 3 bucks. so now im getting into the mind set for the bio lab which is at 12...i get to south hell early enough i get a decent spot and make the hike to campus ( why wont byu invest in shuttle services...why?) ok so the next hour aint bad...bio sounds mind numbing but oh well...i got people to help so i find jenny in the awful bookstore and we go for my first 32 oz of the day...it was quality howdy howdy seemed happy to see us and gave me the OK for skipping class ( cause it was bio) so the rest of the day wasnt bad...alittle swapping of the jeep and off to a pretty decent advertising class which so rudely went for the whole time...cmon teacher give me a break...alittle intro and passing out of the syllabus and call it a night!...so ya..jenny and the jeep are waitin for me (thank you!) and we go to the mall for alittle fun shopping...but due to the lack of real food in me...everything looked just ok and nothing worthy of spending any real money. now to sonic...i love sonic..i love grilled cheese and as im writing this im thinking about getting one... and at sonic is where we add the next 44 oz to my diet coke tally. (grand total=76 quality oz of heaven in a liquid form) skipping ahead cause i feel like ive been alittle too nit picky we go get some shakes from the oh so famous malt shop...decent shakes...alittle pricey..not enough chunkage. ok so after this long day which i have already got a blister forming i leave watching one of my favorite movies thomas crown affair and go home with the goal of falling asleep while watching the daily show with john stewart at 11 pm...now here is where it gets good...MY DAMN KEY PAD BEEP BEEP BEEP DOOR IS BROKEN...thats right...i cant get into my apartment...i push..i pull...i beg..i plead...i do everything. then after it is still beeping at me and wont open i got back to my car..pray..and walk back to it...still wont open (time...11pm...there went my goal) so i start getting alittle more panicked and wonder what the hell im going to do...so being the tired overly stressed girl i am...the tears start a-commin...so i go back to my jeep...cry and then call my mom. (11:30) i vent even more so than what i am blogging right now and then just start crying some more and hoping that by a miracle of god my door will open. But being the great woman that she is she finds a phone book...gets some numberse for me to call. The nice man at Redco Lock Specialist wakes up from a dead sleep im sure and tells me that he can help...in 30 minutes... So my hometeacher comes and finds me ( cause i had called him earlier hoping he knew how to break into girls apartments) and lets me sit at his apartment till the lock guy comes. Speed ahead 30 minutes and redco comes and "jimmy's" the lock (where is that phrase from!?) and tells me that the batteries on my door are dead ( how the hell was i supposed to know that!?!) It is now 12:30 am and hour and a half past my goal bedtime...past the daily show and the colbert report. i didnt get to sleep till after 1 and of course i had a 9 am class again...that was my day...im sorry this wasnt a blog but more of a rant and rave about how much my day sucked...

here we go one more time every bloggers feeling fine...here here here we gooooo

ahh n'sync...amazing group...really brought along puberty quite well...had the boy band crush ( JC HELLO...justin was overplayed and over gelled) but i do love those songs...yes. ok moving on..this week has so far been productive. i survived new years....woo...got through the blizzard driving...woohooo and a yeeehawww...and now i have finished painting the kitchen an amazing green...its totally awesome and everyone agrees with me. painting the kitchen was fun with my mom because when she and i are together there are only 2 movie options...Oceans 11 or Oceans 12... its so fun to watch with her because we try to out do eachother on quoting parts...i think im the winner..."ive never been to belieze" totally got a shirt from there. ok so yes...i love the oceans...they are soooooo hot.
on to other matters. my other accomplishments have been cleaning my room so that there is a clear path from the bed to the closet...and that all the clothes on the floor were assigned to their proper cubbies. MAN do you remember cubbies?! back in the day there were scandals involving cubbies...someone liked to steal my gum...so when i did find them.....da da daaaaaaaaaaa...not finishin that story...could get ugly and someone someday who was involved might read this and then i'd bring about all sorts of mixed feelings and nail polish. either way...ive gotten all my clothes somewhat in a state of repair and others are flocking to the room of cleansing.
this is going to be incredibly random and most likely not keep the attention of the reader...cause ya theres only one of you out there reading and commentatin. I gotta go back to school sometime soon...and im really kinda disheartened...i didnt get the grades i want...im takin classes that i dont know about and really dont give a rats ass about either...its gonna be a lame semester...maybe something exciting will happen...maybe i will find my calling in life...maybe i'll get a job...maybe i'll get married....all these things could happen. Which leads me to my favs of 05 and hopes for 06

settin off fireworks with my cousins in seattle and watching my sister almost torch an old couple....
and finally....watching duke basketball...(havent missed a game this season...h yes we're going all the way)

ya...just got back from a awesome vacay in btown ida-ho...i had so much fun...seriously my stomach still hurts from new years! i gotta hang with campbell and ringold and ya...i have discovered that i totally and completely suck at 1- monopoly 2- scrabble 3- card games against anyone...especially on new years...hahaha. awesome. i loved that on new years when we did get up enough energy to walk to a party we were there for less than 15 minutes which i have decided is the perfect amount of time. spending too long at certain parties ususally results in a- getting stuck talking to someone you really didnt want to talk to b- your shoes get stuck to the floor and you have to leave them there c- driving people home..never fun. but yes...15 minutes is just the right amount of time...awesome. post new years day reminded me why i havent stayed out till 4 in a LONG time. the headache and pain when bright lights were on are just a few reasons why... i love boise but i've also moved on...5 days there is plenty! i did get some sweet pictures.... dont worry i'll post more...and hopefully recieve some from new years eve... oh man...im so tired...driving has wiped me out entirely...i feel like i must catch up on my sleep. this weeks plans are as follows: paint kitchen with the madre...got to stone/producers/P&P again(k and j have convinced me..LOVE TO THE DARCY)...sleep...sleep...sleep
